Hi,
The other day at the office, we were a whole morning without an internet connection because someone digged out a cable somewhere.
I wondered if it would be easy to use the offline feature of our licence. It looks like you have to first generate it (still need an internet connection somehow, even if it's to generate the licence in the User Center?). We just did "something else" and didn't bother to try, thinking of figuring it out later.
So no problem if we'd have to go online somehow using a phone or go somewhere to setup the offline licences, but ....
My questions are:
- Once you've setup an offline licence, will that one still be valid when you start using the Online licence again and later want to go offline again?
- Can you connect to another install on another computer using an offline licence, or would I have to generate 2 different offline licences, or is that simply not possible, like only being able to switch between computers when using online?
- Can the process of switching between an on- and offline licence be simplified? It would be nice to simply be able to switch without having to go to the user center.
I did read the documentation, but did not see the answer to these questions. (if it's there, I'm sorry and didn't read well enough).
