Resolved powerserver WEB: richtext SaveDocument function workaround

Hi all,

I have a richTextEdit control on a window of which I export the contents to HTML! by using the SaveDocument() function. 

It's said that the SaveDocument() function on powerserver web does not support the encoding nor the FileTypeHTML!

SaveDocument

Supported

rte_1.SaveDocument("c:\test.rtf", FileTypeRichText!)

Note:

  1. encoding argument is unsupported.

  2. The values FileTypePDF!, FileTypeDoc!, FileTypeHTML! of the filetype argument are unsupported.

 

I'm thinking of trying to something with a datawindow and exporting it

or something like saving it to a file, open it with Word and then have word save it as html. 

 

Does anyone have experience with this or any suggestions?
